German Vintage Double Bass Circa 1920'sThis magnificent double bass was manufactured in Germany in the 1920s and has undergone extensive repairs to the body by our resident luthiers. It is now in solid playing condition ready top serve its next owner. The deep red almost purple varnish and highly flamed maple back gives this bass a unique aesthetic, and at approximately 100 years old it is an instrument with and fully matured timbers.
