If a component needs to allow the cat to go directly up or down where the connection point is, then these little boxes are suited for the job. Example: Tunnel, stairs, or bridge end on top of your enclosure for a Top Access End. Alternatively, the same situation but underneath the enclosure or component would require the bottom access version.
