Victorian Gothic Revival Oak Throne ChairA wonderful Victorian gothic revival oak throne chair, c. 1880. The chair is well proportioned at well over a metre tall, with a heraldic crest finial above a carved fluted and leather back rest and seat with carved apron. Carved armrests depict foliate detail and terminate in lion masks. The whole is raised upon turned legs united by an 'H' stretcher.
