Cyanotype Long Stitch Journal, Four SignatureOur friend Mary Elizabeth Nelson makes books and cyanotypes at her studio in Pennsylvania. These are four signature blank books sewn with an exterior binding. The covers are cyanotype on paper with a foredge wrap. Each book measures about 5 1 2" tall x 4" wide x 3 4" thick, with a decorative stitch on the spine. There are additional cyanotypes throughout each book, and decorative calligraphic elements, too, in the book that has an oak leaf cover and
