CH-28 Sawbuck Chair, 1951The CH 28 chair by Hans Wegner was designed in 1951 for Carl Hansen & Son and produced at their factory in Odense, Denmark. It was part of the 2nd collection of Wegner's designs made by Carl Hansen as part of a long and successful collaboration. The Sawbuck dining chairs followed a year later in 1952. The majority of Wegner's output up to that point had been handmade by cabinetmaker Johannes Hansen in Copenhagen for the annual Snedkerlaugets
