This diesel lift pump mounts to the frame rail using the supplied sandwich plate mounting system. Fuel is pulled from the factory sending unit in the tank to supply fuel to the AirDog. The pressure side connects directly to the VP44 or CP3 injection pump, bypassing the factory block mounted fuel
